“We seek beauty not to turn away from the world, but to enrich it, restore balance, and remind ourselves of what is possible.”
Beauty takes many forms: serenity and joy, elegance and passion, intimacy and wonder. Where Beauty Persists explores these many expressions through a program of works that have brought beauty to audiences throughout the ages.
Discover the lyrical warmth of Rebecca Clarke’s Comodo et Amabile and the title work by Steve Rouse, written for flute and vibraphone. Travel back centuries with Telemann’s Flute Concerto, or into the more recent past with Arensky’s passionate Piano Trio and Kenji Bunch’s energetic Chamber Concerto. Then witness the world premiere of Texu Kim’s 2027 Camarada Composer’s Circle commission, which celebrates curiosity, imagination, and surprise in an exciting contemporary voice.
Together, these works celebrate the many ways music enriches our lives—offering comfort in uncertain times, inspiring connection, and opening our hearts to new possibilities.
