the soul of tango revealed, face to face

There is something extraordinary about hearing tango performed just a few feet away. The rhythms draw you in, the melodies awaken memories, and the stories behind the music reveal something familiar in us all. Tango Íntimo III invites you into that experience through an intimate collection of solo, duo, and trio performances, where every note and every story create a connection between artists and audience.

Joining Camarada are composer and double bassist Andrés Martín, bandoneonist Pablo Jaurena, and bassist, historian, and narrator Ignacio Varchausky. Together with flutist Beth Ross Buckley, violinist David Buckley, and pianist Dana Burnett, they explore tango's history, traditions, and continuing evolution through music and storytelling. Some music is heard. Tango is felt.
