the soul of tango revealed, face-to-face
The Camarada Tango Quartet welcomes Pablo Jaurena, virtuoso bandoneonist, and Ignacio Varchausky, double bassist and renowned tango historian, for our Tango Íntimo II collaboration. Ignacio will lead the pre-concert talk and also join Andrés throughout the performance with lively insights and narrative threads that illuminate the music—bringing the history, culture, and heartbeat of tango to life in an engaging and entertaining way.

Camarada invites you into the heart of tango with a concert that strips the genre down to its most intimate and expressive form. Featuring solo, duo, and trio performances, the program blends raw emotion with refined artistry. A world premiere by bandoneón master Pablo Jaurena and works by the deeply lyrical Andrés Martín anchor the evening, interwoven with storytelling from one of the world’s leading tango voices.

This is tango up close—personal, passionate, and soul-deep.
