Why should I join the
Camarada Composers Circle?
This is your chance to be a part of the creative process and bring to life a piece of art that you will connect with forever. Commissioning a piece of music does not take any special skill or knowledge of music. You do not have to be a musician, play an instrument, or be able to carry a tune. All you need is a love of music.
Bringing a brand new piece of music into the world for the first time is an incredibly exciting and rewarding experience. Always a collaboration, being a part of a commission brings the performer(s), composer, audience, and commissioner(s) together to be a part of the creative process. As the work comes together, there’s a sense of anticipation, culminating in a premiere performance when all the weeks, months, and sometimes years of preparing, composing, and rehearsing comes to a head in a world premiere.
Camarada is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization under the IRS tax code EIN # 33-0871107
