The Athenaeum and Camarada have an eclectic concert series  based on a collaboration between Beth Ross Buckley from Camarada, and Holly Hofmann, a prominent classical and jazz flutist in San Diego. This musical encounter is rich with abundant possibilities for “classical meets jazz.” Some of the featured composers have included Claude Bolling, Telemann, Peter Sprague, Gershwin, J.S. Bach, Cole Porter, and Antônio Carlos Jobim, along with selections from the Great American Songbook.
